Boston creative headshots tips for success

I'm here to talk to you about headshots. Headshots are an important part of your professional toolkit, and they can help you make a great first impression. But with so many different photographers and styles out there, it can be hard to know where to start.

That's why I'm here to give you some tips for getting great headshots. Here we go!

1. Do your research.

Before you book a headshot photographer, take some time to do your research. Look at their portfolio and see if their style is a good fit for you. You should also ask around and see if you can get recommendations from friends or colleagues.

2. Dress for success.

What you wear to your headshot session can make a big difference. Choose clothes that are professional and flattering, and that make you feel confident. Avoid wearing anything too busy or revealing.

3. Bring props.

If you have a prop that you think would help you to connect with your audience, bring it along. For example, if you're a writer, you could bring a book or a laptop. Or, if you're a musician, you could bring an instrument.

4. Be yourself.

This is probably the most important tip of all. Don't try to be someone you're not. Just relax and be yourself, and we will capture “you”!

5. Have fun!
